Abstract :
PingPong-128 is an LFSR based stream cipher with 128 bit key and 257 bit internal states. The mutual clock controlling provides irregular clocking for every bit of LFSRs. However, fast operation of an encryption system requires hardware implementation of cryptographic algorithms. This paper provides hardware implementation of PingPong-128 stream cipher in FPGA processor. The proposed design also analyzes performance analysis using Quarts II 9.1 web edition and achieves efficiency.
