Abstract :
The emergence of modern ubiquitous IT (such as cloud computing, grid computing etc.) increases the usage of web services. All these web service providers use user´s personal information; (such as name, password) to authenticate the user. Furthermore, these web service providers use different methods to protect user´s personal data. However, existing security is not secure enough; malicious attackers may steal user entered personal information such as users entered authentication information (ID, Password, certificate number, etc.) through keyboard hooking. In this regard, this paper proposes a keyboard hooking, SSA, replay attack protected password input method using authentication pattern and puzzle. The proposed password input method is based on entering the password using mouse. The puzzle image and puzzle pixels mapping is randomly generated.
