Employee engagement — Need of the hour — A special focus on bank employees

Engaging employees has become a major challenge before the management. It is also one of the sensational topic among the organizations in the present years. However, in the modern era employee engagement is seldom studied. In this research study, the antecedent and consequences of employee engagement in the public banking sector at Chennai, Tamil Nadu has been undertaken. The research paper emphasises on employee engagement, the forerunner of job involvement. And attempts were made to know what the banking sector should do to keep the employees engaged.
