Abstract :
This paper describes the assignment of a haptic interface. We are proposing an electric music baton system for visually disabled persons. An acceleration sensor, radio module, and haptic interface device constitute the proposed system. We carried out an experiment on the response time using visual and haptic interfaces to determine the difference between the visual and tactile senses. In the case of the visual interface, when clue motion was added to the experiment, the response time was decreased to approximately 0 ms. In the case of the haptic interface, when clue motion using pre-vibration was added to the experiment, the response time also improved.
