Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel disease classification method based on eyeball shape parameters related to high myopia disease prognosis, by measuring 3-dimensional eyeball shape features without invasion, using 3-D T2-weighted MRI. Moreover, this paper proposes a specially implemented MRI analysis software, which can determine eyeball shape parameters both numerically and objectively, in order to decrease radiologist dependent analysis factors. The other clinical studies carried out by ophthalmologists have made it clear that our defined 4 kinds of eyeball shape parameters were related to causing high myopia related complications.
