Abstract
By the advent of an aging society in Japan, home medical care support system is important. So, vital signs measurement system for home medical care support is needed. In this study, we aimed at the development of a new small wearable device. Measurement was used for the Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor. In this paper, we report on the measurement of pulse rate. In our measurement system fix the sensor to the skin surface of the body. In this way, takes as a distortion of expansion and contraction of blood vessels. Calculate the pulse rate from this obtained waveform. However, it can be measured at various points in the body. Therefore, we examined the measurement site to take easy the pulse wave. As a result, I found the measurement site where able to take easy a signal. In addition, we created a program to calculate the pulse rate in real time for measurement wearable.
