Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relations between three domains of organizational citizenship behaviors and team effectiveness, and to test for the moderating effects of gender on the relationship between organizational citizenship behaviors and team effectiveness. Data analyzed using Pearson correlation and hierarchical regression analysis respectively showed that self, group, and organization domain organizational citizenship behaviors were directly related to job satisfaction, group and organization domain organizational citizenship behaviors were directly related to team performance. The results indicated that gender moderated the relationship between organization domain organizational citizenship behaviors and job satisfaction, and this relationship was stronger for males than females. Implications for practice and directions for future research are discussed further. The conclusion we get has guiding significance to the improvement of the performance of the work team in the State-Owned Enterprises of our country.
