Abstract :
The technology innovation work can be effectively assisted through analyzing the existing technology and forecasting the future technology, so it´s an effective approach to carry on technology innovation through technology forecasting. This article constructs a technology forecasting system to carry on technology forecasting through building the bridge between patent map and technology forecasting. This system uses patent maps to analyze the past and current status of a technology from many different aspects, and forecasts the future status of a technology using the analysis results from three aspects of technology activity, technology cycle time and technology evolution trend. At the same time, the rationality and feasibility of the technology forecasting system are demonstrated with the case of proton exchange membrane fuel cell technology.
