Abstract :
How to evaluate the economic and risk level of large hydropower station delivery project is an important area in research and practice, since such project will increase quickly in Southern China. In this paper, the method for evaluating the economic benefit of such project was put forward by showing a case. Moreover, according to the characteristics of water power delivery, the method for evaluating the risk, which may have large impact on economic benefit, was raised. The results showed that grid-connection volume, operation cost are important risk factors. Finally, risk mitigation strategies were raised to reduce the project risk.
