Abstract :
Workflow is a driver module of PDM that is used to define and control the basic process of data manipulation, helping PDM system to generate, supervise, manage and control enterprise business process. Petri net has got a very strict mathematical definition and can be used for the analysis of process model. This article introduces the technology of PDM, workflow and Petri net modeling. It also applies workflow modeling techniques based on Petri network, vividly illustrates the workflow data control and processing course of PDM system and offers Petri network model validation and analysis methods. Researches based on Petri network workflow modeling techniques have important application value and theoretical significance.
