  • Abstract
    For the equipment components with partial or none design drawing, their CAD models can be regained through reverse engineering. Based on the formation of CAD model, the equipment components could be redesigned. This paper introduces the key technologies of 3D data measure, 3D data preprocessing and CAD model reconstruction in RE. Combined with actual example, concrete realization method of equipment components design based on the use of object RE technology is researched. The application result shows that this method can effectively increase the imitation efficiency of the imported equipment components.
