Abstract :
Many agent based models for disaster crowd behavior in closed spaces have been described in the literature. In this paper we propose an extension of the confined space models based on the bounded rationality theory (BRT) that is able to model crowd behavior during large area events with longer time constants, such as natural disasters. We model the BRT factor selection process using an ordered geometric average approach (OGA). Then, we present two examples of crowd behavior related to the evacuation of a hypothetical island.
