  • Abstract
    In this paper, we study the broadcast diamond channel, which is a special case of diamond channel by replacing the multiple access part in the diamond channel by two orthogonal links with finite capacity. We propose a joint decode-compress-forward achievability scheme for the broadcast diamond channel and evaluate the proposed scheme in Gaussian broadcast diamond channel. We show that the proposed decode-compress-forward scheme achieves higher rate than decode-forward and compress-forward in broadcast diamond channel.
