  • Abstract
This paper studies the feasibility of a hybrid energy system for a residential area in the city of Kanpur situated in the northern part of India. Various sources of energy, such as solar photovoltaic, wind energy, fuel cells, and diesel engines are considered for the study. The paper suggests the most cost-effective combination of components for a grid-connected hybrid energy system for the chosen location of study.
