            Abstract : 
This paper focuses on a two-dimensional (2D) photonic-crystal semiconductor slab, which has a 2D periodic variation of the refractive index on a length scale comparable with the wavelength, as the interconnection of a THz-wave IC. This is because ultralow-loss manipulation of a light wave in the photonic crystal has been demonstrated in planar and ultrasmall structure.
