Abstract :
A diode pumped CW Erbium (Er)-doped Zr-Ba-La-Al-Na (ZBLAN) fluoride glass fiber laser operating at 2.78 μm was demonstrated using a guided mode resonance filter (GMRF) as an external cavity mirror.
