Abstract :
A Computer Based Learning Model applicable in communication engineering courses has been presented. Nowadays, communication engineering professors and students, face an increasing number of challenges during their studying process that requires a powerful ability to use a number of software and professional engineering simulators. The two important commercial software: Excel and MATLAB [1], are known to be the best preliminary software because of their availability, user-friendly application, and low cost and minimum hardware requirements which can motivate engineering students to work with professional programs and software packages in the future. This paper shows how a teacher can prepare a simple multipurpose computer based package by means of Excel and MATLAB for sample communication engineering courses.
