  • Abstract
The rapid development in micro-computing has allowed implementations of complex mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (mWSNs). Privacy invasion is becoming an indispensable issue along with the increasing range of applications of mWSNs. Private trajectory information not only indicates the movements of mobile sensors, but also reveals personal preferences and habits of users. In this paper, we propose the distributed Basic Trajectory Privacy (BTPriv) and Secondary Trajectory Privacy (STPriv) preservation algorithms to hide trajectory of data source nodes online. We set up various simulation environments for different applications. The effectiveness of our proposed algorithms is evaluated by the software implementation in simulation experiments.
