Abstract :
Electrocardiography(ECG) is the interpretation of the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time, as detected by electrodes attached to the outer surface of the skin and recorded by a device external to the body. This paper proposes an algorithm of ECG signal abstraction by micro controller MSP430, analysis using an algorithm and verification using arbitrary generator AFG3000 series. This paper illustrates detection of Atrioventricular(AV) node and its parameters using ECG with respect to various graphical parameters like PR intervals, P wave, RR interval, PR segment, QRS complex, ST segment, T wave, ST interval and QT interval.
