Abstract :
Multi Sensor System is a complex structure with application in ecology, military, health, transport etc. Signals like soil temperature, humidity or pollution have to be acquired by using a distributed array of sensors, over some geographical area. Such signals enter the main processing tool through an acquisition interface. In this paper the hardware structure and the integrated software components of a Mobile Unit for Signals Acquisition, Processing, Identification and Diagnosis (MUSAPID) are presented, as well as some applications, for several technological processes, denoting the versatility of this system.
