Abstract
This paper presents a method for iteratively enlarging a given invariant (contractive) proper C-polytopic set for continuous-time linear systems. It is proven that the proposed algorithm generates a monotonic sequence of invariant (contractive) proper C-polytopic sets. The distinguishing feature of the algorithm is a novel, geometric approach to the set expansion problem. Several examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
