Abstract :
This paper presents a basic planning method of electric vehicle charging infrastructure based on energy equivalent. The planning method predicts charging load first, then analyzes locality and capacity of distribution transformers, checks the overall plan finally, and assesses its economy and convenience. This method is based on the amount of gas utilized to predict the load, it can not only meet the demand of electric vehicles, but also consider the feasibility of construction and the reliability of power grid, so that provides some relevant constraints expressions, which are helpful for saving construction costs, improving users´ satisfaction and ensuring the revenue of the operators.
