Abstract :
The article introduces an off-line constant current LED driver. The chip utilizes an innovative primary-sensing technique for constant output current (CC) and constant output voltage (CV), eliminating the need for the opto-coupler, the secondary voltage reference, as well as the current sensor, while still maintaining quite accurate regulation. It integrates a high-performance, low-voltage PWM controller chip and an 800V, avalanche-rugged power MOSFET in the same package. This highly integrated device minimizes the number of external components, resulting in a compact and very cost effective solution for LED Bulb.
