Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce the restrictive Padé-type approximation by combining the ideas of Padé-type approximation and restrictive Padé approximation. It is highly accurate and gives exact values at some given points. A mixed model reduction method of linear system, that is, the restrictive Padé-type-Routh method is presented for retaining the stability of the original high-order linear system. Two examples illustrating the proposed method are provided.
