  • Abstract
Hypersonic vehicles are near space vehicle with high Mach number. This paper considers the general hypersonic longitudinal model with uncertainties. According to the characteristics of the longitudinal model, it can be divided into two independent parts, i.e., the speed control channel and the altitude control channel. In the altitude control channel, backstepping is used to design a control law such that the closed-loop system is input-to-state stable (ISS) with respective to uncertainties, and the altitude and velocity commands can be enforced even if the attack angle is larger. In the speed control channel, Lyapunov method is used. Following the theoretical analysis, the simulation results are shown.
