Abstract :
Due to the disturbance of air flow in aerial refueling, the docking between probe and drogue is very difficult. Modeling drogue dynamics will reduce the difficulty and therefore, increase the success rate of autonomous docking. For this reason, this paper studies the relationship between the drogue position and interference forces, based on a link-connected model proposed in the literature. First, the effect of the drogue movement is analyzed under disturbance forces applied axially. According to this analysis, second-order models are used to implement three-dimensional identification of the drogue dynamic characteristics. Finally, the simulation results indicate that the identified system accurately represents the relationship between drogue position and interference forces.
