Abstract :
This article studies the guaranteed cost control problem for a class of delayed neutral systems with nonlinear perturbations. A memory retarded integral state feedback controller is designed such that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and the upper bound of the cost function should be smaller than a given one. By using the Lyapunov functional method combining with the Riccati equation, a linear matrix inequality-based delay-dependent stability condition is presented, which guarantees the stability of the system and the existence of the controller. To decrease the conservatism of the obtained criterion, instead of the usually used cross-term bounding techniques, additional matrix variables or Jenson inequality, the generalized Finsler lemma(GFL) is utilized in this paper and an example is given to show that the cost function has a less upper bound.
