Abstract :
Propose a Resource Isolation Policy(RIP) which is applied to open real-time systems with shared resources. It can combine with static scheduling strategy such as Stack Resource Policy(SRP) and dynamic scheduling strategy like Bandwidth Inheritance(BWI) conveniently. It can solve the problem that hard real-time task´s deadline cannot be guaranteed by Bandwidth Inheritance. We are going to prove that RIP would not interfere with the schedulability of a scheduling strategy with which RIP is combined, and to present the influence of scheduling performance of soft real-time task when using RIP, by theoretical analysis in detail. At last, we introduce how to combine the RIP with the BWI through a new strategy instance called BWI-RIP.
