Abstract
This paper is concerned with robust H∞ controller design problem for continuous-time systems with interval time-varying delay. The uncertainties are supposed to belong to a polytopic domain described by its vertices. Delay-dependent LMI representations for H∞ performance analysis are developed by using Lyapunov theory and Finsler´s lemma. Upon these, robust H∞ state-feedback controllers are designed such that the closed-loop systems are asymptotically stable and the disturbance attenuation level is not more than a specified upper bound for all admissible uncertainties. An illustrative example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control design method.
