Abstract :
The control of giant magnetostrictive actuator, which is a new kind of actuator, is researched in this paper. Based on the structure and working characters of the actuator, its control model is built with Experimental method. Then its fuzzy PID controller is designed, and the membership functions and fuzzy rules are established. Finally a simulation is made with MATLAB. This research testifies the validity of the Fuzzy PID Control for Giant Magnetostrictive Actuator, and gives a reference for designing.
