Abstract
As MEMS is developing rapidly, its assembly is becoming more and more complex. To ensure the quality of the assembly, it is important to measure the forces during the operation based on visual servoing. Among many force measuring methods in the MEMS assembly, vision-based force measurement is gaining more and more attentions because of its unique advantage. The research status of vision-based force measurement is introduced in this paper. Some examples are analyzed too. The applications and characteristics of vision-based force measurement methods are concluded. Finally, its developing prospect is predicted.
