Abstract :
An incremental control models-based fast output feedback predictive control strategy is presented for multi-variables discrete-time linear time-invariant systems. Firstly, combining control incremental models with state observer is used to predict the system outputs in the future. Then, incremental control actions are computed on-line by optimizing some given performance indexes, which leads to predictive control actions at the current time. Furthermore, the stair-like control method is introduced to decrease the computational complexity of the online optimization. This yields an output feedback predictive control law with light on-line computational load. Finally, a simulation example is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the results proposed here.
