Abstract :
Coiler system control is very complicated, especially the tension and torque set-up calculation and control. Based on mechanism analysis, an integrated electromagnetic torque model of coiler motor is developed, including acceleration torque, tension torque, bending torque and friction torque. A mathematical model is got according to the field data. This model is realized in a real-time simulation system based on the VMIC chassis. Good simulation result shows the effectiveness of the model, which is closed to the industrial plants.
