Abstract :
The H control problem is studied for a class of network-based systems with random delays and packet dropouts. A new model is presented to describe the networked control system with random one-step delays and multiple packet dropouts during the information transmission. Both the sensor-to-estimator channel and the controller-to-actuator channel are considered. By using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, a state feedback controller is designed to exponentially stabilize the closed-loop networked system in the sense of mean square and also achieves the prescribed H disturbance attenuation level. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
