Abstract :
For wireless sensor networks, target tracking is an important application area, but the quantitative tracking methods in wireless sensor networks are more concentrate on single-target tracking. In this paper, we present a new method based on quantitative multi-target tracking especially maneuvering targets. First, we derive a new quantized joint probability data association algorithm (SJPDA-IMM), the performance and complexity of this algorithm are very close to the standard joint probability data association based on 1 bit. Second, we propose a distributed multi-target tracking algorithm based on SJPDA-IMM in wireless sensor networks. Simulation results show that this algorithm can successfully track multiple targets especially maneuvering target with minimal power consumption in wireless sensor networks.
