Abstract :
As to many existed fusion algorithms did not take the characters of wireless sensor and actor networks into consideration, a general distributed fusion algorithm is proposed in this paper in order to analyze its features in wireless sensor and actor network from transmission delay, node energy consumption, memory occupying, network lifetime and the probability of transmission failure. Finally, the simulation results show that the distributed fusion algorithm can have less transmission delay, longer network lifetime and more balanced energy consumption than centralized fusion algorithm under the same conditions, especially under the harsh environment.
