Abstract :
Based the building up model of series hybrid electric powertrain, according to requirement of system matching, the two kinds of APU with configuration of the gasoline engine - permanent magnet synchronous generator-PWM inverter, and gasoline engine-permanent magnet synchronous generator-uncontrollable inverter were designed. By the method of energy flow chat analysis, engine operation point, fuel economy and system energy efficiency under different control modes were compared and analyzed. The simulation results showed that APU can achieve better fuel economy under control mode of engine high efficiency point. If the system cost was not considered, the overall efficiency of powertrain can be improved to some extent provided with configuration of gasoline engine - permanent magnet synchronous generator-PWM inverter.
