Abstract
Few papers about inventory control consider allowable shortage and permissible delay in payment together. This paper discusses an inventory control problem for deteriorating items with partial backlogging under deferrable delivery conditions. Existence and uniqueness of optimal ordering policy for the inventory system is showed and numerical examples are given to illustrate the theorem.
