Abstract :
This paper presents results of compliance tests performed on digital signals transmitted by the main TV broadcasters in five Brazilian capitals. The analysis took into account some specific points of the relevant ABNT standards, which regulate all aspects of the Brazilian Digital TV System (SBTVD). Several problems and non-conformities that were found in the signals during the analysis are discussed in this paper.
