  • Abstract
    The energy storage system(ESS) for a DC 1500V electrified railway was developed. The ESS was installed on the track of Daejeon HRT in 2010. When the ESS is on/off, the saved energy rate is obtained. This paper presents the verification tests about energy saved by the ESS.
