Abstract :
This paper is devoted to detection performance evaluation of the constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detectors employed by radar sensor systems used to construct the middle range radar (MRR) and short range radar (SRR) based on linear frequency modulation continuous wave (LFMCW) radar sensor system. Several CFAR detectors are compared under the same initial conditions and the evaluation criterion is an ability to detect the target return signals at different signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with and without interfering targets. Simulation results are presented.
