Abstract :
A relativistic electron beam (850 keV, 6 kA, 150 ns) is injected into a 2.5 m long drift chamber. A 0.21 T magnetic field Bq is applied. For three different fill pressures in the chamber, i.e. IO−6, 10−2 and 1 Torr, the measured beam transport properties are compared to computational results.
