Abstract :
A design of the electron accelerator for excimer laser pumping is presented. The accelerator produces an electron beam of 250-keV electron energy, 20 × 140-cm beam cross-section with a beam current density up to 8.5 A/cm at 1+5.4 us pulse length. The methods for calculating an accelerator geometry are considered. Energy characteristics of laser radiation are presented, a radiation energy of 25 J being obtained for XeF∗ molecule at 281 active volume.
