Abstract :
In the present paper, by applying only the Fourier transform method proposed, we derive in the unified manner the TD asymptotic solutions for the WG mode radiation field, the SDR, and the EDR comprising the transient scattered fields when the plane pulse wave is incident on one of the edges of a curved conducting surface. The validity of the TD asymptotic solution derived here is confirmed by comparing with the reference solution calculated numerically.
