Abstract :
This paper has investigated on heat transfer medium for whole-body averaged SAR measurements by a calorimetric method. The microwave exposure experiment and measured WBA SAR (specific absorption rate) are indicated. It turned out that measurement accuracy and measuring time change by changing heat transfer medium. Furthermore, when using water as heat transfer medium, error with measured values and simulated values of WBA SAR are less than 10% and this is the best accuracy in used three kinds of heat transfer medium.
