Abstract :
To improve the strong real-time performance and high reliability of wind farm SCADA system, this paper proposes a Comet-based strategy with HTTP long polling to achieve the web implementation of SCADA system. Compared to the asynchronous communication mechanism based on Ajax engine, Comet, using the server push technology as the core, can further enhance the information exchange´s real-time performance effectively. It can also avoid a frequent exchange between client and server. Thus we can reduce the information congestion and transmission delay in network.
