Abstract :
Based on GPRS Time Based Charging Gateway (TBCG) in one communication operator, the Paper analyses processing bottleneck of this module. It caused system inefficient and inconsistency of the user order data between TBCG and BOSS (Business Operation Support System). On the basis of current GPRS Charge Detail Record (CDR) processing procedure in the BOSS, it adds a new CDR processing module of GPRS Time Based Charging to process abnormal GPRS Time Based CDRs and overlapping ones. By comparing system performance, the data after the new module online and during the spring festival of 2012 shows that the optimization module performance is much better than the old one in processing ability and efficiency.
