Abstract :
A kind of pest recognition system has be designed that microprocessor controlled shooting mobile device and DSP. It used the trap light as the backlight and lured pests to the curtain and used the pyramid algorithm to identify pests. Experiment used plant hoppers as object. Used 160W fluorescent mercury lamp by self ballasted with high pressure to trap plant hoppers to the white curtain. Then used the camera to capture images, and used the approach of emulator to online simulation and used CCS3.3 to handle pictures. The experimental results show that the system can accomplish the outline extraction of plant hopper. It provided a basis for further identification of the pest.
