Abstract :
Three dimensional model reconstruction of construction machinery involves a large amount of technical problems which affecting the promotion and application in virtual training system. In this work, several key techniques for the model reconstruction of construction machinery in virtual training system are addressed. Firstly the reconstruction method for three views of machine parts is proposed based on rapid 3D surface fitting as well as NURBS composite surface. Then the two singularities with local differential geometry property and whole distance property of pipe surface are analyzed. The self-intersection condition and the influence on the pipe surface reconstruction are discussed. The necessary and sufficient condition for non-singularity of pipe surface is given. The solving countermeasure and method of the intersection problem on the hydraulic system complex trending pipes are put forward.
