Applications of Excel VBA in Data Processing of Magnetic Survey

Magnetic survey is a geophysical method widely used in the mining industry. Its measuring data are often transferred to computers in the form of Excel files. In order to do further data processing conveniently, the data usually are preprocessed with VBA programs in Excel files. Excel VBA and data preprocessing of magnetic survey are introduced. Using VBA programs in Excel files to highlight anomalous measuring points and to insert information of missing points are illustrated.
